North Park Pres is blessed to have many families with children of all ages in our congregation! Our Children’s Ministry is designed to support those families by providing educational and recreational activities for kids, as well as resources for parents as they raise their children up in the Lord. This ministry includes Children’s Sunday School classes for ages 3 through 17, weekly outings for moms and kids, youth group nights, and baby celebrations to welcome the youngest additions to our covenant community.

Children’s Ministry Coordinator, Malia Kent
Malia and her family have attended North Park Pres since December 2021. She became the Children’s Ministry Coordinator in August 2025 with a passion for creating spaces where babies, children, and youth can gain gospel connections and feel welcomed in the Church. Malia has spent 15+ years working in Christian Education and holds a BA in Biblical Studies from San Diego Christian College and an MA in Teaching from Liberty University. She loves remembering that each child will one day be her peer in the pew and prays they will develop a lasting sense of belonging in God’s great family.
